Twelve Hills is a unique Blackland Prairie nature center amid homes and schools in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. It is maintained by volunteers in the community with a passion for this native habitat and wildlife. The center provides education opportunities to visitors of all ages and to nearby schools. Paper Kites Studio designed the secondary pedestrian entrance for the adjacent neighborhood. The pedestrian descends through an organized arrangement of native plantings to access the trails below and journey into a more naturalized setting.
